Bob Hartman and lead singer John Schlitt are my heros! Oh so many times Bob Hartman's lyrics and John Schlitt's singing inspired me in many different situations! When I am down, there always is a Petra song that is just right to lift my spirits up and encourage me to go on! No other band held such High standards in the lyrics and music as Bob Hartman did with Petra. And the voices and passionate signing of John Schlitt was icing on the cake. The thought that there will be no more NEW music by Petra is hard to take, but then again, there is enough Petra songs to keep me going for a life time.
