| A while back in Miami Florida their
was a "raving" fad. It caught my attention and
I started raving ever since. Now, the raving I'm talking
about is not that which is associated with clubs and drugs,
but simply dancing with a pair of glow sticks. Aside from
being an awesome lights show, its a great exercise. One
can rave to any song that has a techno-dance beat. Below
is a few pictures of the way I make my glow sticks... |
| Glow
sticks are made of plastic and so the hole where you hook
the chains to is to soft to rave at high speeds. After
a few seconds it snaps and breaks, sending the glow stick
dangeriously flying into the air and can hit someone.
So what I did was use a paper clip to create a metal loop
where I could hook the chain to without it burning the
plastic and snaping. I then use a strong liquid metal
glue to make sure the clip loop does not losen or open.
It's a lot of work to do each pair but it's the only way
I have found that is strong enough. When I use up a pair,
I keep it to practice. |
